Here are some new pictures of the house construction/renovation. This week is preparation for next week - which is foundation pouring.
As always, click on the above picture (and then on "berkeleygal77's photostream") to see more pictures taken this morning.

Finishing Details of House
This house is my new house. It took me only 5 or 6 hours to make. I will probably eat my new house on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. If you want a piece of my house, let me know. ;-)
As always, click on the above picture to see more pictures of the same house

Up Close and Personal With the CLAW
Meanwhile, back on the ranch...
... the digging continues, as does the destruction. Next week they start in earnest on the foundation!
As usual, click on the above picture to see a few more, including one of me in the Bobcat.

Kitchen destruction
For more pictures of recent destruction, click on the picture above and it will take you to my flickr website. Then click on the link that says "berkeleygal77's photostream" and you can see all the house pictures (and my pix from the trip to the UK a year ago, too, for that matter...).
This is what happens when contractors and their people have their way with your nasty old kitchen.

Bedroom wall
They've taken out all the plaster and "stuff" (yes, that is a technical term), and this is the bedroom wall. Eventually, they'll be putting in new insulation, new electrical wires, and 5/8" sheetrock. Please note the amazing quality of the wood - it is the original from 97 years ago!
This one is 50 feet long!
This is a fifty foot long steel I-Beam! It's in my house!! I just wish I'd been there when they brought it in.
Let the Shoring Up Begin!
They brought in the I-beams today! Here you see the wooden posts that are used in a "Lincoln Log" like fashion to support the end and middle of the I-beams.
Me in House
This picture was taken this past Sunday. As you can see, there is still a floor to stand on... I'll take guesses as to what I was gesturing about, because I don't remember.
